Determination of impurities in Drotaverine hydrochloride substance by reversed-phase HPLC
HPLC analysis of related impurities contents in Drotaverine
hydrochloride substances was done by using various methods of quality control in
accordance with the requirements of substances and drugs manufacturers. It is
shown, that different chromatographic techniques give different results in the
control of the same series of Drotaverine hydrochloride substance. Comparative
study of the relationships between abnormal toxicity and total impurity contents
are not allowed to chose an acceptable HPLC method for related impurities
control in the investigated substances.
