INDICATOR FILMS BASED ON GELATIN GEL FOR DETERMINATION OF Со(II), Cu(II), Pb(II), Cd(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Fe(ІІІ), Al(III), Ва(II), Sr(II) AND SO₄^2-.

The commercial photographic films with immobilized metal indicators 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol, nitroso-R-salt, eriochrome cyanine R, alizarin red S, pyrocatechol viole, nitchromazo are recommended to use for the photometric and visual-test determination of Со(II), Cu(II), Pb(II), Cd(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Fe(ІІІ), Al(III), Ва(II), Sr(II) and SO42-. The optimal conditions for reagent and metal complexes immobilization are founded. The results of microscopic investigations shown that met-al indicators are immobilized only in photo film gelatin layer; the structure and morphology of gelatin layer don’t change after modification. The pH value of isoelectric point of hardened gelatin (4.46 ± 0.04) was determined by the viscometry method. The metrological characteristics for photometric and visual determination using transparent solid-phase reagents were evaluated; the accuracy of the determina-tions was confirmed by independent methods.
