THE USE OF A [Со(SCN)4]2--SELECTIVE FILM ELECTRODE FOR DETERMINATION COBALT AND THIOCYANATE IONS.

A tetrathiocyanocobaltate ion-selective film electrode based on quaternary ammonium salt has been developed. The limit of detection of the electrode was 2.6∙10−7 mol/l. The proposed electrode exhibits
high selectivity for cobalt over many cations such as Zn2+, Сd2+, Hg2+, Fe2+, Mn2+, Ni2+. Method of determining cobalt in solid industrial wastes and thiocyanate ions in technological solutions has been developed.
