COMPARISON OF VARIOUS METHODS FOR PREPARATION OF USED CAR CATALYST SAMPLES FOR DETERMINATION OF PLATINUM METALS CONTENT.

Comparison of various methods of platinum metals transfer into solution with the aim of their determination by inductively-coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry was made. Samples originate from spent car catalysts.. Validity of the obtained results was confirmed by the interlaboratory experiment. Relative standard deviation Sr was determined to be ≤ 0.03 for platinum and palladium; ≤ 0,13 for rhodium (n=4; P=0.95).
