application of luminescence quenching effects.

Literature data on the use of luminescence quenching effects of different fluorophores (organic dyes, quantum dots, based on chalcogenides of cadmium, complexes of metal ions) for the detection and determination of the Al(III), Fe(III), Cu(II), Hg(II), Pb(II), Cr(VI), halide ions, PO₄^3,, H₂O, H₂O₂, NO₂,  various organic substances, including drugs, nucleic acids, enzymes, proteins have been systemated. The special attention is paid to the possibility of bioanalytical application of quenching effects of lanthanide ions sensitized luminescence. The perspectivity of fluorescent probes using based on the effects of different fluorophores quenching in biochemical research, control quality of drugs and food products, in the determination of toxicants in the environment objects has been shown.
