DETERMINATION OF CATECHINS BY SOLID,PHASE LUMINESCENCE SPECTROSCOPY.

A spectrofluorimetric method for determination of catechins in the tea was developed. The method is based on the use of molecular luminescence sorbate complexes of scandium (III) and catechins on the sorbent type dextran Sephadex G,75, in the presence of anionic surfactants, sodium lauryl sulfate. The optimum conditions of sorption were chosen, acidity, the concentration of complexing, sorption time, temperature and drying time of the sorbent, the amount of sorbent. The detection limit is 0.005 mg of catechin / ml.The detection limit is 0,005 mg/ml  catechin.
