It is possible to determine the total content of antioxidants (polyphenols,
20–300 µmol/l) by chemometric methods, multiple linear regression or projection
to latent structures, with UV spectra of mixture. Corresponding errors are less
than 5% rel. The possibilities to develop this precision method and to utilize
it for analysis of mixtures with unknown qualitative composition are discussed.
