Principles of luminescent method of analysis with the use of characteristic 4f, luminescence of lanthanide ions (Ln) are considered. Various possibilities of application of this method are systematized for the determination of low concentrations of drugs and their metabolites, proteins, enzymes, DNA, and also for the aims of fluoroimmunoassay.
