COMPLEXATION IN MANGANESE(VII)—4-SULFO-2(4`-SULFONAPHTHALENE-1`-AZO)NAPHTHOL-1 REDOX-SYSTEM.
The peculiarities of complexation in manga,nese(VII)—4-sulfo-2(4`-sulfonaphthalene-1`-azo)naphthol-1 redox system in aqueous solution at various pH values have been studied. The formation of manganese (II) at pH=2 and manganese (IV) at pH=6 has been proved in this redox system. We propose two analytical forms with light absorption peaks at 370 and 430 nm, respectively, characterized by manganese microquantities various minimal detection limits.
