Spectrophotometric determination of Cr(III) with Chrome azurol S in the presence of Cr(VI)
It has been established that interfering influence of Chromium(VI) on spectrophotometric determination of Chromium(III) consists in interaction of Cr(VI) with Chrome azurol S giving Chromium(III). The optimum conditions have been found and the method of Cr(III) selective determination in solutions that contain Cr(VI) has been developed. The determination limit is 7·10,7 mol/l. Up to the 100,multiple amounts of Cr(V²) do not interfere.
