Automatization of qualitative atomic emission spectral analysis for objects of complicated composition

 Problems of library search systems for atomic emission spectral analysis are examined. Probabilistic algorithms based on spectral coincidences calculation are suitable for automated identification of elements with certain reliability objective. New search system is described, it is realized as the separate ATOM-3 software module for mainstream device MAES-10 (mulltichannel emission spectral analyzer). Effectiveness of this search system is confirmed by 15 elements (transition metals, 0.001–1% ) identification in different model mixtures and standard reference materials.
