Sorption-atomic-absorption determination of silver in water
Optimal conditions of silver ions adsorption by silica with immobilized propylthioethyleamine were studied. The method that combined selective solid phase preconcentration of Ag(I) from aqueous solutions and further atomic adsorption determination is proposed. The method allows to determine silver ions in natural water sources at the level of the maximum allowable concentration.
